Overview and Instructions

Selling + Registration

Step 1:
Select the limit of protection that is needed based upon the customer’s phone make/model. If it would cost more than $150 to repair the screen of the device, choose the $300 limit option, if the repair of the screen is more than $300, select the $500 limit option.

Step 2:
Fill in all required info on the checkout form. Verify the customer’s cell phone number and also be sure to put your shop’s phone number in to get credited for the sale.

Step 3:
The customer will receive an SMS within 30sec if the transaction successfully goes through. They will follow the link in the SMS and use the provided temporary passcode in the SMS to login and complete activation/set-up of their protection.

Step 4:
The customer will need to login and first complete an activation form to provide their personal info to setup the account.

Step 5:
The customer will then add their device to their account after completing the activation form. (1) photo of the “about page” of their phone is required and must be taken from another device (phone, tablet, laptop, camera, etc.). You can make it easy for the customer by taking this photo for them and then emailing or texting them the photo to then download and put into their account. Step 6:
Referral fees for your sales get paid out monthly on the 15th day of the month for all sales made the month before the prior month. For example, sales you make in April are paid out on June 15th. (This will be updated to weekly billing by approximately August 2021)

Claims

Step 1:
If a customer has not already done so, they must log in to their account on the AKKO platform and file a claim. (https://app.getAKKO.com/login)

Step 2:
If the customer arrives to your store, verify the claim has already been filed in their AKKO account. Note down their AKKO Claim #, it will be needed when you submit an invoice for reimbursement for the screen repair.

Step 3:
Submit your final invoice for a device repair to AKKO: https://akko.link/claim-invoices
